On Saturday 2nd and Sunday
3rd September 2017, the
city of Bergamo had once
again the pleasure of hosting the
5th edition of the Purebred Arabian
Show E.C.A.H.O. - Category C -
International, a show that has made
the Promoberg Fair also known in
many foreign countries and that, for
its technical-organizational part, could
count on the strong professional skills
of Faustino Scanzi and Mario Fermi
assisted by Martino Brizio in his role
of Ringmaster and Giancarlo Soresini
in his role of Pre-ringmaster. Members
of the Disciplinary Commission were:
Mrs. Barbara Raso; Mr. Manuel Zanchi

The enthusiasm of Dr. Carlo Conte, Director of Promoberg,
was great : ‘An optimal base, he said, so that both the Fair
in general and the part more strictly linked to the PSA
Championship will remain in the future as key events in the
calendar”. Being a C International show we could admire
subjects coming from both the rest of Europe and from
Arabian countries. Many specimens of this wonderful breed
entered the competition giving the public audience much
entertainment in a sparkling September atmosphere. The

Bergamo was a Morphology show widely reported in the
international circuit and, for all contenders, a test of real
competition, but also a manifestation strictly linked to the
Arabian horse and the culture that has developed around
him. Once again this noble creature has catalyzed upon
herself the attention of the public, but how could it be
otherwise? A big round of applause, once more, goes to the
Organizers who strongly supported these elegant exhibitions
and to all participants who did their best indeed. Now, let’s
just let the images do the talking…
