Towards the end of September 2019 Arabian Horse Magazine flew off to the imperial city of Aachen to participate in the ‘All Nations Cup’, for sure one of the most glamorous Arabian Horse shows in Europe. We could not imagine Aachen without the All Nations Cup as a regularly established event. Our wonderful Arabian horses, the luxurious structure of the Albert-Vahle-Halle, the impeccable organization of Mr. Wolfgang Eberhardt from VZAP (the German Association of the Arabian Horse) make this beautiful venue possible year after year. The judges officiating at the 37th edition All Nations Cup included: Mrs. Marianne Tengstedt (Denmark); Dr. Gianmarco Aragno (Italy); Mr. Klaus G. Beste (Kuwait); Mr. Lucas Gozdzialski (Poland); Mr. William Oppen (Argentina); Mr. George Zbyszewski (United States) and Dr. Marek Trela (Poland). The Disciplinary Committee was composed by: Mr. Line Brunsgaard (Denmark); Dr. Laura Mascagna (Italy); Dr. Helmut Feigl (Germany); Mr. Peter Hegemann (Germany) and Dr. Thomas Stohler (Switzerland). In his role of Ringmaster: Mr. Mohammed Hamad from Egypt. The music was excellently mixed by Mr. Lars Grootswagers from The Netherlands playing all along with the horses’ performance. The streaming and the scoring were managed by Mr. Michael Steurs from Belgium. Outstanding speaker: Mr. Eric Blaak from The Netherlands. Photographers from all over the world turned up at the beautiful structure of the Albert-Vahle-Halle, sneaking into the crowds of people to reach the arena where they positioned themselves to take pictures all along the show. For this edition, they were: Mrs. Lisa Abraham (United States); Mrs. Paola Drera (Italy); Mrs. Lore Beckers (Germany) and Mrs. Melanie Groger (Germany). The first day in Aachen started with the German Nationals that were the first step of the halter show competitions that took place during those days. On the 2nd day of this unique event we had the pleasure to see top-quality Yearling & Junior Fillies and Colts classes. The All Nations Cup 2019 ended up on Sunday with the Six Championships that showed us top-class horses and amazing performances. The German Arab Horse Society and the Nations Cup Committee would like to warmly thank all the Sponsors for their support. Without their contribution such an important international show event would not be possible. Thank you to all the guests who attended the event and made their affection felt. A big thank you to all the breeder and handler friends, without whose help the All Nations Cup in Aachen would not exist. They are already working on the 2020 All Nations Cup and, as usual, it is going to be another wonderful experience for all of us in this community.
